Minimum Wage

The federal minimum wage and the New York minimum wage is currently $7.25 per hour. New York has approved an increase in the minimum wage to $9.00 which will go into effect over the next three years. At the end of this current year (2013), the minimum wage will be increased to $8.00. The following year, the minimum wage will become $8.75 and a year later it will be $$9.00.

Overtime
